Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is a water-soluble vitamin that plays essential roles in red blood cell formation, cell metabolism, nerve function and the production of DNA. yes. B12 is a water-soluble vitamin – which means that surplus is not retained in the tissues, it is passed out of the body via the kidneys and therefore will not reach toxic levels.

The upper arm (deltoid muscle). A brief sting is possible but will not be long lasting. Reactions at the site of the injection are possible (redness, swelling) but are rare and short lived.

This will vary amongst people of different ages and circumstances. It may be a couple of days before you notice, or it could be sooner. Sometimes people don’t notice an immediate benefit, but rather realise a few weeks later that they are starting to feel as they were before the injection.
