Your skin will look slightly tanned immediately after the peel due to the retinoic acid. This fades within a hour. Over the next few days your skin will feel tighter and pigmented areas may appear slightly darker(this is normal). Skin peeling usually begins at day three. In some cases the peel is virtually invisible. By day 6-7 your skin will have completely finished peeling and will look amazing.
We recommend avoiding heavy sweating for the first few days after the peel. Normal activities may be resumed immediately after the peel. It’s also advisable to keep sun exposure to a minimum when skin is peeling.
We would advise against having a VI Peel if you are pregnant or breast feeding. If you would like further clarification make sure to speak to your Doctor.
No, there is no pain involved with the VI Peels. Some clients might experience a slight stinging sensation but only for a few seconds.
